My name is Megan Paris, the owner of Balanced Ventures. I provide seniors with the care and companionship they need to maintain their independence, whether it be in the home, or in the world, as they travel and continue to enjoy life. My background has solely been in healthcare and agriculture, while travel has been a hobby and joy for me. I have 20+ years of experience in healthcare with seniors in various roles and settings. I have my Master’s Degree in Social Work, and I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant & Medication Aid. I have a passion for providing in-home care to seniors, as I value their happiness, independence, and comfortability. Quality in life is also a strong professional value of mine. Assisting and accompanying seniors on vacation and during travel is a way I can help seniors and families truly experience quality in life despite their age and abilities.
Vacation & Travel Care & Companionship
Traveling seniors benefit greatly from professional care and companionship services, which provide personalized care, support for mobility, medication management, and logistics, making trips safer and less stressful. I assist with seniors' specific needs for everything from local travel/transportation to events, to airport navigation, to international travel. I offer physical assistance, handle complex arrangements, and provide essential company, ensuring seniors can enjoy vacations, family events, or necessary relocations without the usual burdens.
What we do...
- Mobility & Logistics: Assist with wheelchairs, navigate airports/stations, handle luggage, board transport, and support walking/sightseeing.
- Medication Management: Ensure timely medication intake and proper storage.
- Planning & Activities: Help select suitable events, manage itineraries, and assist with travel arrangements (flights, hotels).
- Safety & Comfort: Provide security, reassurance, and handle unexpected issues, even in foreign locations.
- Personal Care: Provide assistance with ADL's such has personal hygiene, showers, dressing, eating, etc.

Special Events & Family Gatherings
Family reunions, class reunions, weddings, baby showers, etc. You don't want to miss these moments! I can help get you there, and also accompany you during the special event.
Vacations
Whether you are going on a vacation with your spouse/partner, your extended family, or want to go on an adventure solo... I will be there to help you along the way.
Relocation
If relocation is something you want to do, or have to do, I can assist you with all the details & logistics and help the transition be as smooth as possible.
